Our Principals
Andrew Schluter, as Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of Grossman & Speer Associates, Inc., is a principal engineer and overseer of all study and design programs. He is especially qualified in earthquake analysis and design, including studies for life-safety programs. His experience includes design and analysis of new and existing structures including buildings, retaining walls, and seismic retrofit projects. Mr. Schluter has experience working with the Division of State Architect on public school projects including design approval, addenda, change orders and closeout. He is currently registered as a Structural Engineer in the State of California and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from UCLA.
Derrick Masulis
Derrick Masulis, as President of Grossman & Speer Associates, Inc., is a principal engineer and overseer of all study and design programs. He is especially qualified in earthquake analysis and design, including studies for life-safety programs. His experience includes, design and analysis of new and existing structures including buildings, retaining walls, and seismic retrofit projects. Mr. Masulis has been Structural Engineer-of-Record on public school projects. He has experience working with the Division of State Architect on public school projects including design approval, addenda, change orders and closeout. He is currently registered as a Structural Engineer in the States of California and Washington and holds a Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering from UCLA.
